I'm sure you're wondering why I've dedicated my life to brain injury awareness, and why supporting families facing the effects of TBI means so much to me.
Well, here’s a bit of my story.
For nearly three decades, teaching elementary-aged children was my passion. I loved helping students discover their voice and navigate life’s early lessons.
But in 2015, a traumatic brain injury ended my teaching career and dramatically changed my future.
Everything had to be relearned, slowly and painfully.
After years of misdiagnoses, setbacks, and silent battles, I finally found a path forward.
Today, I can drive again. I work part-time in a local library, and I live an intentional life, bringing encouragement and hope to those who have experienced a similar path.
If you’re interested in having me speak at your event, school, or church gathering, please don't hesitate to reach out at pam@pamlee.org.
This space is for parents walking through the fog of traumatic brain injury with their child.
Whether your son is 6 or your daughter is 26, the ache is the same:
The H.O.P.E. Framework is simple, yet transformative:
Healing in Suffering
Overcoming Through Faith
Purpose in the Pain
Encouragement for the Journey
I live these truths daily. I invite you to explore them as well.
