God's Nearness in the Valley

God's Nearness in the Valley

Peace for the Week:  God’s Nearness in the Valley

Scripture:

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

Reflection:

When life feels heavy, it’s easy to believe God is far away. But His Word promises the opposite—He draws near to the hurting. Your tears are not overlooked, and your weariness is not unnoticed. In the valley, He doesn’t stand at a distance; He leads and will carry you all of your days.

Still Waters (Psalm 23) by Leanna Crawford

Application:

This week, when discouragement whispers that you’re alone, try a simple practice: place your hand over your heart and whisper, “The Lord is near.” Let that truth steady you. Even when circumstances don’t change, His presence changes how you walk through them.

Encouragement:

You are never alone in this journey. God’s nearness is your strength today, and His love will not let you go.

With grace and love.
